Ingredients:

  • 3 pcs tofu (cut into small cubes)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Mike and Sky Laing
  • 2 sili pansigang (green peppers used in sinigang)
  • 2 labuyo (bird’s eye chili)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp kalamansi juice
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Preparing the Tofu:

  • Slice the tofu into small cubes.
  • Fry the tofu until golden brown and set aside.

Creating the Sisig Sauce:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, kalamansi juice, Mike and Sky Laing, soy sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, water, and oyster sauce.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly and set aside.

Cooking the Laing Tofu Sisig:

  • In a pan, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced green peppers (sili pansigang) and bird’s eye chili (labuyo).
  • Pour in the Laing sauce mixture and stir well.
  • Finally, add the fried tofu to the pan and mix everything.

Serving:

  • Serve the Laing Tofu Sisig hot, either as a main dish or as a flavorful appetizer.
